International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) and AtGames partner to Launch Groundbreaking Virtual WPPR Tournaments

Revolutionizing Competitive Pinball: Virtual Pinball Tournaments Join the Global Stage!

Los Angeles, CA - The International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) and AtGames today announced a strategic partnership that will bring official IFPA rankings to the virtual pinball community. This collaboration introduces the Virtual World Pinball Player Rankings (VWPPR) system, launching April 18th, 2025, marking the first time virtual pinball players can compete for official IFPA rankings from their homes.

The partnership creates a unified competitive ecosystem that bridges physical and virtual pinball communities.

Players using AtGames' Legends pinball devices will be able to participate in official IFPA-sanctioned tournaments and earn globally prestigious IFPA rankings through the new VWPPR system, while existing IFPA players gain access to high-quality virtual competitions unrestricted by geographical limitations.

“We are excited to bring official IFPA rankings to virtual pinball through this partnership with AtGames," said Josh Sharpe, President of IFPA. "The Virtual WPPR opens up new possibilities for players, and we’re proud to help expand the competitive pinball scene to an even wider audience.”

The Virtual WPPR tournaments represent a revolutionary step forward for the pinball community, providing a seamless blend of virtual and physical competitive gameplay. Whether you’re a seasoned pinball pro or a newcomer to the sport, this partnership ensures that every player has a chance to compete on the world stage.

"This integration with IFPA marks a pivotal moment for digital pinball and our thriving community," said Dr. Ping-Kang Hsiung, CEO of AtGames. "By combining our Legends pinball platform with IFPA's renowned ranking system, we're creating new opportunities for players to compete at the highest level, no matter where they are in the world."
